Internal Medicine - Eileen C. Comia, M.D. LLC
In March 2007, Dr. Comia established an Internal Medicine practice at
Bloomfield, Connecticut. The uniqueness of Dr. Comia's practice is in the
integration of complementary medicine with conventional Internal Medicine,
providing a new perspective to chronic illnesses. Dr.Comia applies a
functional approach to the treatment of common symptoms and ailments. She
also specializes in women's healthcare.
Michele A. Marek, a nurse practitioner, joins Dr. Comia at the new practice.
Michele will be involved in the treatment and diagnosis of our adult Internal
Medicine patients. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from
University of Connecticut, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern
Connecticut State University, and her Master of Science degree in Nursing
from the University of Connecticut. Michele also served as a critical care
nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital for several years.
Dr. Comia is an Attending Physician at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center
in Hartford, CT. She is affiliated with the St. Francis Physician Health
Organization, American College of Physicians, and the Connecticut Medical
Society.
